Technology has moved our society past traditional phone calls and text messages; gathering data from mobile apps and social media providers has become the new normal.  The bad news? Law enforcement must keep up.  The good news? There is more data at your fingertips than ever before, you just need to know where to look and what to ask for. In this session, you will learn how to leverage data from mobile forensics, social media intercepts, and social media search warrant returns. MSAB and PenLink will show you where to look, how to obtain it, and where to combine it to analyze the entire communications picture.

Jacob Hulsey, Director of Customer Success, MSAB
Jacob Hulsey, Director of Customer Success for MSAB, is a former law enforcement officer from middle Tennessee. After receiving a degree from George Mason University in Administration of Justice, he served both the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department and Smyrna Police Department. He then joined MSAB almost 5 years ago where he has been diligently supporting customers across Federal, State and Local agencies.

Scott Tuma, IP Program Director, PenLink
Mr. Tuma has over 13 years of experience at PenLink.  He works closely with Law Enforcement Agencies at the State, Federal, and International level, focused exclusively on internet communication data in investigations.
