Join the Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center as they highlight how PLX helped identify leads in investigations through case connections, assisted in quickly reviewing multiple data sources to glean crucial information for investigations, and was critical in proving the largest engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity case for one Ohio county resulting in eight individuals being sentenced to a total of 116-131.5 years in prison for drug trafficking.

These examples highlight how the use of PLX resulted in insights that otherwise may not have been found and furthered investigations to include new targets and charges. While these examples are focused on drug investigations the tools used within PLX apply to all investigation types.

Learning objectives:

  • How the case overlap function in PLX can tie various investigations together and help investigators strengthen cases.
  • Ways that multiple data sources can be quickly reviewed to identify pertinent information and help understand roles and actions of individuals across multiple data sources.
  • How PLX can be used to support RICO or Engaging cases by using the dates of communication between targets.
