This webinar will give an overview of several types of vehicle and identity fraud, describe how to identify these cases through the paper trail, and highlight case studies involving cloned cars, identity fraud, counterfeited cigarettes, and Nebraska's first state RICO case!

Sid Yardley started his Law Enforcement career in 1974, at the Lincoln Police Department, where over the next 35 years, he was assigned to Communications, each of the five-team areas as a Street Officer, Narcotics as an Investigator, Training as a Field Training Officer, Identification Unit as a Certified NIBIN Tech with extensive work in Firearms and Firearm investigations and certified as a Firearms Instructor and Law Enforcement Instructor through the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center. In 2009, Sid retired and became employed as a Nebraska Deputy State Sheriff-Fraud Investigator with the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles Fraud Unit. This unit's duties include investigating crimes associated with driver licenses, motor vehicle titles, and identity theft. It also oversees the States Facial Recognition Program and assists other agencies with training and investigations.
